- Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Perform basic safety inspection. Front & rear brakes at 12mm. -Tech noted check engine light on. *Oil pressure switch and transmission pan leaking- trans fluid was 2qts low- recommend service transmission, replace oil pressure switch & knock sensor w/ connector. -Oil pan & rear main seal leaking, remaining motor mounts worn.
- Service air conditioner. Check condition of all belts and lines. Evacuate and recharge with R-134. Test system performance. High side (190psi) Low side (40psi) Amb. temp. (98F) Vent temp (50F)Tech noted freon low on arrival- found service ports leaking- replace.
- Remove & Replace Service Ports
- STEERING GEAR (COMPLETE) – Remove & Replace – 3.8L Eng – – [Includes: Manual and Power Rack & Pinion, Worm & Ball Nut and Rack & Piston Assemblies.]
- (Combination) – TIE ROD &/OR END – Replace Each
- POWER STEERING PUMP – Remove & Replace – 3.8L Eng
- POWER STEERING HOSE – Remove & Replace – 3.8L Eng Return,Hose & Tube Assembly,w/Cooling Tube – [Includes: Lowering Subframe.]
- POWER STEERING HOSE – Remove & Replace – 3.8L Eng Pressure Hose
- POWER STEERING FLUID EXCHANGE
- Wheel Alignment
- Perform inspection & diagnosis- parking brake switch stuck- draining battery- remove switch, clean & grease- operates OK at this time-if gets stuck again recommend replace.
- Service transmission
- Replace Knock Sensors, Connectors & Oil Pressure Switch
