Established in 1993, my younger brother, Dale, and I started Bolger Bro's Auto Repair in a rented 2-bay garage, built in 1938 on Arrow Blvd. in Fontana. Believing that with honesty & plenty of hard work, we could have the American Dream of owning our own business. Word spread fast, our reputation grew and we worked long hours & weekends trying to keep up. In ’95 we hired our 1st employee. In ’97 we expanded to our current size. We now have 5 employees to serve you, using 5 lifts in 10 bays with 2 smog machines.
Over 30 years of experience and a Certified Master Mechanic. Professionally trained by General Motors as a Buick Technician, Certified CA. Advanced Emission specialist. Owner & operator of Bolger Bro's Auto Repair for over 20 years. I have been a Fontana resident for over 20 years and have raised my 5 kids here in town. Been coaching Little League baseball & softball with FCLL for the past 10 years. Also, Coached Etiwanda HS girls’ softball in the 2014 season.

- Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Perform basic safety inspection. Front pads 6mm, rear pads 5mm, Set tire pressure to 35psi. Torque lug nuts to 100 ft lbs
2005 Cadillac CTS
- Clean & inspect for oil leaks- found vehicle has !MULTIPLE! leaks *Front timing cover leaking severely * front crank seal, oil pan, rear main seal all leaking, oil drain plug was loose- clean & tighten to spec. *Tech noted rack & pinion seeping.
- -Upon tear down & inspection tech found vvt solenoids, valve cover, front water outlet seals all leaking. -Upper & lower radiator hoses & drive belts soaked in oil. – Customer advised timing chain worn & declined replacement at this time.
- 2 hours extra labor
2022 Ford Mustang
- Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Perform basic safety inspection. Brakes pads at 8mm, tire pressure set to 35psi Lug Nuts torqued to 150 ft lbs
2004 Lexus RX 330
- Front brakes 4mm, rotors have blue spots, rear pads are metal to metal
- Replace brake pads & rotors, Service all calipers
2015 Toyota 4Runner
- Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Perform basic safety inspection. Front pads at 8mm. Rear pads less than 2mm- recommend replace rear pads & rotors. Cabin and air filter dirty. Brake fluid due for service. -Inflate tires to spec (35PSI) -Torque lug nuts to spec (80ft. lbs)
- Pressure test cooling system. Flush engine, radiator, and heater core in both directions. Check thermostat and electric cooling fan operation. Inspect hoses and clamps.
- Interface with computer to retrieve data & trouble codes- **P0128 Coolant Thermostat Temperature Below Regulating Temperature.– Inspect coolant system- found thermostat has been replaced before- plastic thermostat housing broken- customer advised piece possibly lodged in engine or radiator**** **Customer advised to pay attention to engine power & temperature gauge**
- THERMOSTAT &/OR GASKET – Remove & Replace
- REPLACE REAR BRAKE PADS & ROTORS, SERVICE BOTH CALIPERS
- Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Flush entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders until clean.
- Disable fuel injection & chemicly clean fuel injection system
- CLEAN THROTTLE BODY
2018 Honda Civic
- Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Perform basic safety inspection. Front brake pads at 6mm. Rear brake pads at 4mm. Rear brakes low. -Recommend spark plugs at next service. -Torqued lug nuts to spec (80ft. lbs.) -Inflated tires to spec (32PSI)
- Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Flush entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders until clean.
